Job Summary:

Our chosen candidate willperform a variety of highly skilled and specialized duties that will include,but not be limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:
    • Provide solid rocket motor (SRM) internal ballistics modeling and simulation analysis in support of propulsion and contract design and test related activities.
    • Lead and support study teams and perform the following activities: problem identification, study planning, data collection, data consolidation, model setup, model execution, data extraction, data analysis, study briefing and presentation.
    • Understanding of tactical missile systems engineering processes
    • Develop study plans, identify gaps and evaluate solutions
    • Lead analysis teams
    • Participates in system engineering activities which include: Concept of Operations formulation; Requirements Definition; Analysis and Engineering; Validation and Verification; System & Operational Performance Analysis

  • Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience):


    Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accreditedcollege/university in engineering, physical science, computer science,operations research, mathematics or other technical fields. Bachelor’s and nine (9) years or more ofrelated experience preferred or Master’s and seven (7) years or more of relatedexperience. PhD and four (4) years ormore of related experience desired. Candidate should have strong background and experience in mechanics,thermodynamics, chemistry and fluid dynamics in weapons systems. Strongmechanical aptitude and technical leadership skills.


    To perform this job successfully, an individual should haveknowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, andVisio. Ability to work with 3D modelsand 2D drawings. High competency incomputer programming.


    Ability to understand and interpret Geometric Dimensioningand Tolerancing. Strong mechanicalaptitude and technical leadership skills. Experience with solid rocket motors, and solid-fuel air-breathingpropulsion and industry standard analytical codes such as ENGAGE is a plus.


    Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with ourproducts. Must have the ability toobtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
