Big Data Developer- Analyst

Position Summary

The Senior Application Development will leverage cutting edge big data technologies to lead enterprise level data initiatives by designing and developing a Big Data platform through database design, application development, and data modeling. Gather and process raw data at scale to include but not limited to writing scripts, calling APIs.  Very good in Core Java, Hibernate, Springs, Multithreading concepts, REST API & SQL Working experience on Spark & Kafka. Working experience on Big Data technologies like HBase, Hive & Solr

Preferred Qualifications
-Application development experience in a retail, healthcare, or PBM environment.   
-2+ years of experience in the  following: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); creating functional and  technical design specifications; database tuning; Java, Oracle; Teradata; ETL  software; and Erwin.  
-2+ years of experience in Hive.

Experience in partnering with architects, engineers in data environments that are complex, enterprise wide, multi-tenant, and host large scale 
Experience in Core Java, Hibernate, Springs, Multithreading concepts, REST API & SQL Working experience on Spark & Kafka
Working experience on Big Data technologies like HBase, Hive & Solr
2+ years’ experience developing big data platforms, ensuring high performance and efficiency
Programming experience developing enterprise financial software applications and solving tough technical challenges
