Position Description:


The purpose of this position is to help people live their lives to the fullest by administering, analyzing, and monitoring the member complaints, process issues, and corrective/preventive actions. The role provides input to identify, prioritize and support process improvement opportunities that will lead the company to be a constructive and transformational force in the health care system and will increase the quality of service and customer satisfaction. This role also supports the Nexus site as a tool for supporting the EMS framework across the business.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day activities including administering, analyzing, and reporting associated with member complaints using the EMS Nexus site


• Provide back-up to the day-to-day administrative activities associated with corrective and preventive actions


• Support and enhance the EMS procedures including the identification and evaluation of the organization's risk areas to identify process improvement opportunities.


• Analyze performance of EMS processes and procedures, including adherence and completing inspections and monitoring metrics.


• Participate in or support small scale process improvement projects/initiatives as needed.


• Participate in team meetings, reviewing documents, compiling data reports and project resource requests for process improvement projects.


• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems of the EMS team and site.


• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years experience business, quality or related field required


• 2+ years experience in business analysis or reporting required


• 2+ years experience leading or supporting small scale process improvement projects (Six Sigma/Lean) required


• Must have excellent computer skills, demonstrating fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access


• Healthcare industry experience preferred


• 2+ years experience working in ISO 9001 and/or TQM environment preferred
