You will work in coordination with the UAT Manager/Lead to ensure that testing readiness and testing execution milestones are completed effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and self-directed, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-visibility work environment.
As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to facilitate the quality testing practices in support of various Chase applications. In this role, you will partner in the planning, design and execution of testing strategies and practices in order to meet the user acceptance testing requirements for the applications supported by your team. In this fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to interact with all project stakeholders throughout the SDLC. This position requires experience working in support of web-based, client-server, and batch testing.
  • Analyze business requirements and functional documents to create detailed test plans for impacted projects.
  • Design, develop and execute automation test scripts using the BPT automation framework of UFT.
  • Create test cases/scripts in ALM based on the Business Requirements, Impact Matrix and/or Functional Specifications.
  • Execute test scripts on assigned projects
  • Perform User Acceptance testing, Regression testing and Production Validation.
  • Coordinate with QA teams in Business and Technology blocks to ensure full coverage of testing and test result validation
  • Report and track defects in ALM.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and provide consistent follow up on the status of issues.
  • Actively participate and sometimes conduct team status meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance with a thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles and Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiar with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in design of detailed functional and regression test plans, and creation and execution of test scripts
  • Minimum of 3+ year’s hands-on experience in automation testing using QTP/UFT or equivalent tool is preferred.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders, external partners and vendors.
  • Working knowledge of ALM.
