Job Summary:

The System Product Management Lead will lead the product management team driving solutions from initial development to on-going growth and transformation of all applications used by club employees and our members

The Technical Product Solutions team (Innovation team) is responsible for the development and launch of AAA's platform tools and applications used by employees and in some instances our members. The team owns all development and re-engineering of applications for multiple lines of business including sales, service, marketing and product or appropriate internal business partner.

Responsibilities:

* Leads the team through the transformation of the club IT organization to drive efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and support enterprise goals as well as drive own product strategy and solutions
* May be required to support and work directly with staff to create and accomplish deliverables.
* Partners with the lines of business to discuss, analyze, define and create product requirements for applications and the associated product roadmap across sales, service, marketing and platform development.
* Develops and drives an enterprise product roadmap from cradle to grave; encompassing the needs of our business partners in alignment with the enterprise strategy to support increase sales and revenue, reduce expenses or drive operational efficiency. Provides recommendations on the retirement of existing legacy systems and applications.
* Engage with enterprise customers for requirements gathering, feature requests and roadmap updates.
* Provide domain and product expertise for across enterprise.

* Works directly with the technology team to deliver applications driven by business defined goals, objectives and priorities.
* Coaches, mentors and leads other product managers in addition to providing the lines of business with solutions and alternatives.
* Work directly with development, QA, user experience, documentation and other product teams to execute the product strategy across multiple initiatives.
* Own and drive feature delivery end-to-end: writing user stories, working with user experience to create prototypes for usability testing, working with development, technical publications, and quality assurance teams to deliver products on time.

* Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming business requirements into a successful product strategy.
* Demonstrated experience as a working lead; lead is expected to lead own project and roll up your sleeves and jump into the weeds as well as be a leader to a small team of product managers
* Knowledge of Saas, application, and/or software product development experience
* Strong people management skills
* Technical background and ability to engage with development on complex topics is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.

* Ability to work with ambiguity

Education, Work Experience, Licenses & Certifications:

Required:

* Preferably 10+ years of product management or related experience
* 3-5 years of people management
* Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum is a plus.
* Bachelors' degree, MBA and technical disciplines preferred
* Good understanding of Saas applications, Architecture, Design and functionalities
* Previous experience working in a start up environment as well as medium to large matrixed organization desirable
