Position Summary:

Responsible for installing, configuring and supporting Windows OS using Hyper-V, MS Cluster and Active Directory. Provides sound technology solutions that leverage the family of Microsoft products, technologies, and methodologies. Works with peers through the phases of analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment to production. Uses or applies agile development techniques to improve the efficiency and reliability of the Microsoft server infrastructure.

Essential Requirements:

Daily administration of physical and virtual MS server operating system software.

Establish and maintain MS Active Directory Environment

Monitor backup systems, assuring tape//disk rotation both on and offsite premises

Review MS security issues, rules and policies along with Patch Management

Maintenance of MS shared files, and implement new MS operating system software

Daily support of multiple SAN Environments

Elicits, identifies and captures requirements for the automation of internal business processes.

Develops process workflow models reflecting and improving existing business processes.

Architects and design solutions from captured requirements for internal deployment.

Constructs a solution with the appropriate Microsoft technologies.

Coordinates and performs quality assurance on a solution prior to deployment.

Plans and manages an effort using agile lifecycle techniques.

Monitors and provides ongoing support for deployed solutions where such is needed.

Evaluates and pilots new Microsoft technologies to meet ongoing needs.

Provides technical expertise on an ongoing basis around Microsoft technologies.

Supports and advocates internal process initiatives.

Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.

Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.

Ability to travel as needed for meetings, projects, training, etc.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills:

Five (5) or more years of directly related experience required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred and MCSE certification required.

Advance level knowledge in at least one or more of the following:
- Microsoft SharePoint 2007 or higher and InfoPath 2007 or higher.
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2007 or higher.
- Microsoft .NET IDE and one or more .NET programming languages.
- Microsoft Systems Centerproducts (Systems Center Operations Manager, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Services Manager, Systems Center Capacity Planner, etc.)

Working level knowledge of Active Directory, scripting languages, SQL, Visual Studio, .NET, and Windows (Vista and 7).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM) and OCS.

Advance level knowledge in any of the 2010 products.

Microsoft certifications or equivalent training in the areas of expertise required.

Working knowledge of agile development lifecycle activities: Requirements, Analysis & Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and deployment.

Working knowledge of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF).

Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Self starter, good organization.
