Job Summary:

Our chosen candidate willperform a variety of highly skilled and specialized duties that will include,but not be limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications.
  • Develop manufacturing methods and tooling designs.
  • Write manufacturing procedures, test plans and reports.
  • Mentor and/or supervise less experienced engineers.
  • Interface with customer engineers.
  • Manage all aspects of a project including: Schedule, budget and resources
  • Work closely with AS9100 quality system.
  • Participate in brain storming sessions for ideas and problem solving.
  • Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Other Duties as required.

Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience):


B.S. degree in Mechanical Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering

Minimum 10 years’ experience as Project Engineer

Working familiarity of composite materials and basic composite design and analysis


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio. Must have Excel skills for cost and data analysis and Microsoft Project experience. Working knowledge of Solid works or similar 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation. CAD design of parts, tooling, molds and fixtures.


Strong mechanical aptitude and technical leadership skills

Concise technical writing skills.

Travel as needed (approx. 5%)


Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with our products. Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.

Work Location: Indian Head, MD or Arlington, VA
