Position Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analysis to uncover the root cause of issues within healthcare operations; Work with cross functional teams to identify and implement solutions.


Position Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess impact of operational issues and medical cost outliers


• Research and identify the root cause of issues and identify and develop the execution of solutions


• Track results of solutions and claim recoveries against P&L


• Consult with Finance on development of financial tools and reporting for local markets


• Analyze claim overpayment reports and interpret findings to corporate and local markets


• Identify key drivers of medical cost leakage and work with local markets to develop and track action plans


• Extract and prepare claim data from multiple platforms

Core Competencies:

• Excellent communication. Time/project management, problem solving and organizational skills


• Experience and comfort in conducting conference calls and presentations


• Ability to navigate through multiple systems and platforms and manipulate and analyze data

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• 4+ years' experience in a analytical business capacity


• Advanced Excel skills. (Majority: automated reporting, data analysis, pivot tables)


• Intermediate Access


• Basic PowerPoint

Assets:

• Project management experience


• Healthcare operations or healthcare data analysis experience
