Position Overview:

The LYNXeon Solutions Engineer will design and implement LYNXeon solutions across a broad range of domains and technology environments. This position collaborates closely with customer management, technical and operations staff, internal product engineering, and the business development/sales organization, and therefore requires excellent people/customer-facing skills and a blend of business process and technical expertise

Responsibilities

Collaborate with BD/sales organization, product engineering, and customers to plan and implement successful LYNXeon deployments, including production, evaluations, and POC s

Install and configure LYNXeon at customer locations

Design, document, and implement customer-specific LYNXeon data models

Design, document and implement LYNXeon integration to existing customer infrastructure and data

Skills/Education

BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

(3) years experience in systems analysis/engineering and an understanding of systems analysis/modeling techniques, concepts and methods

Up to 70% travel to customer sites

Demonstrated RDBMS skills across a range of technologies, i.e. generic SQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle RDBMS. Experience with data-warehousing appliances is a plus

Demonstrated hands-on Java/J2EE/XML skills and experience

Demonstrated scripting skills and experience

Knowledge of contemporary system hardware, peripheral devices, operating systems, and software

Demonstrated ability to work remotely/independently in a consulting environment

Skills Preferred

Current DoD TS/SCI clearance

Experience with cyber security techniques, tools and procedures

Experience with military or civilian intelligence systems and processes OR law enforcement systems and processes

Experience with enterprise application integration in medium- to large-scale environments possibly involving legacy client/server or mainframe applications

Experience with contemporary ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) solutions and tools

Project management skills
