EdPlus at ASU is currently seeking a highly motivated and articulate Marketing Cloud Administrator t to join our high performing team. This position will collaborate with the Marketing team and stakeholders to support and implement marketing automation. This position will support the business unit and the technology team in reporting and analyzing Marketing Cloud and CRM data. The Marketing Cloud Administrator is a technically savvy, detail oriented, resourceful and analytical digital operations specialist. This critical role is responsible for helping to oversee the marketing automation platform infrastructure and will be instrumental in leveraging marketing automation to execute campaigns and capture data across the entire marketing and admissions cycle. They will utilize their business analyst skills to analyze, identify, design and implement business process models, monitor and maintain the overall health of the database, the business workflow/revenue model, API integrations, audience segmentation, targeting, lead scoring, and bulk imports of data.

Depends on experience
Facilitate the creation and execution of campaigns and journeys
Create and maintain automations that utilize multiple data sources for campaigns, including writing SQL queries
Create and maintain Data Extensions for marketing automation needs
Design business solutions on the marketing platform based on business needs
Facilitate development and maintain marketing automation integration with a digital experience
Manage and analyze data views and reports in Marketing Cloud that will drive further optimization for email performance
Maintain users, profiles, roles, and permissions
Document all system processes and training guides as needed
Train new and existing users on system functionality
Stay current on release notes and communicate any new features or changes to the organization
Assume or coordinate other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field AND two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months experience.
Evidence of a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc.)
Evidence of of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget including Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Contact Builder ( 2-5 years)
Evidence of marketing automation platform certification (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce.com
Demonstrated knowledge with current online marketing industry best practices and issues
Demonstrated knowledge with agile development processes
Demonstrated knowledge of SQL
Evidence of being a confident and proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects, including requirements gathering, design and project planning/management, in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Evidence of being an excellent team player with cross-functional collaboration skill who is adaptable to changing market and organizational needs
Evidence of strong sense of creativity around translating business requirements to actionable marketing requirements
Evidence of effective communication skills including the ability to operate across various levels of the organization, clearly communicate and explain complicated processes, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and exhibit strong listening and feedback skills
Experience in acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
Evidence of analytical skills
Experience creating process diagrams with Visio or other flow diagramming programs
Experience in quickly identifying and implementing efficient workflows and processes
Experience in serving as change agent in the organization
EdPlus at ASU is located at Skysong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate verbally in English, read, write, see, and hear to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.
