The Information Technology Division (ITD) of the Arizona Supreme Court is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support the programming and maintenance of application software development solutions, and work with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure successful solutions are delivered. The Senior Systems Analyst’s primary function is to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, as well as write detailed business requirements, detailed design specifications and identify program functions. This position is responsible for ensuring overall system design and the data quality of technology applications, projects, production environments, and data collection systems and methodology. This individual acts as a strategic partner between the business community and IT development teams to resolve functional and technical issues related to business application. Specific responsibilities include ensuring that data integrity standards are adhered to, reporting needs are met and all applications that are moved into production are of good sound design standards, sufficiently tested and proven to meet all quality assurance (QA) standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. The candidate must have five years' senior systems analysis experience in automated systems maintenance and development management; as well as business analysis experience or experience in working partnerships between business units and systems development; a solid knowledge and understanding of design and analysis processes; experience in testing; the use of automated test tools; quality assurance procedures; and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to quickly and effectively analyze problems and implement solutions, as well as, the ability to establish productive working relationships with diverse user groups and internal staff.

SELECTION PROCESS:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Some positions may take 4-6 weeks to fill.
