The Information Technology Division (ITD) of the Arizona Supreme Court is seeking a Senior SQL Database Developer.  This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining court business applications. Selected candidate will have strong SQL Server, TSQL SSIS and SSRS skills. The candidate should be highly proficient in working with large databases and have hands on experience with optimizing queries and performance tuning. Selected candidate will assist in training and mentoring junior developers.  Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years’ experience programming, analysis, design, development, implementation, quality assurance and applications support.  Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.  Experience identifying and implementing infrastructure improvements with a focus on SQL database.

Experience with MS SQL Server: T-SQL; SSIS; SQL Server Agent, Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio
Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) programs

Experience with Data Modeler Tools

Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar tool

Experience identifying and implementing infrastructure improvements with a focus on SQL database

Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
