System Integration Developer - Operations Center

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Development, or equivalent college/technical school and 4 years’ experience in application development and administration, or combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of PowerOn (Symitar) development experience. At least 1 year of API JSON/XML programming experience. Basic knowledge of JAVA, Python, or other object oriented language (C#, Objective C). Understanding of databases, RDBMS, and writing SQL queries. Basic project management skills needed to handle diverse tasks, project planning, and estimating work completion. Basic knowledge of an automation or job scheduler like SMA's OpCon XPS. Experience must cover information systems development using database, spreadsheet and text manipulation software.
Ability to effectively communicate to individuals, groups and organizational leaders verbally in person, on the telephone and through email. Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret data and reporting specifications to meet end user requirements. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make appropriate recommendations for resolution. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to determine and test reliability and validity. Knowledge of computers and software applications in Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to type 45 words per minute. Ability to read, write and speak in English.

Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server, SAML (SSO), IDE, Monarch or other data mining tools from static reports, FTP processes.
Responsible for the development, programming, and integration of software, with a focus on Episys, between both internal and member facing applications.
Creates efficiencies and automate processes by integrating software and creating PowerOns that work with core systems.
Develop detailed technical specifications, software diagrams, technical documentation, and code secure connections for new programs that interface with the Credit Union's systems. These programs must conform to department standards, business requirements, regulations, and industry best practices.
Collaboratively work directly with business units, technical teams and third-party vendors to strategize and design future-focused solutions, identify requirements, constraints, estimate timeframes, and assist with implementing complex technical solutions.
Strategize with other R&D staff to avoid conflicting solutions and to increase transparency amongst the R&D team.
Conducts a full range of programming tasks, including programming design, program coding, debugging, and system documentation.
Uses various databases for technical solutions.
Assists with software development to prepare for host system upgrades, new and revised modules, and general system implementation plans.
Evaluate and implement complex change requests.
Researching and learning emerging technologies that can help advance the credit union forward.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance; use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision and color vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to travel independently to department and branch locations.
