The Analytics Engineering team is currently looking for an exceptional Scrum Master with a history of Agile/Scrum, managing milestone timelines across companies and with Software Quality Assurance to join our team in one of our locations: Hartford, CT; Wellesley, MA; New York, NY.
This Sr. Scrum Master role is an opportunity to join the engineering team within the analtyics organization working on projects that will shape the future of the organization. The immediate need will be to join our team supporting the Attain mobile app. Attain is a product made for our members to help them lead a happier & healthier life. This role will be focused on maturing the team’s Agile practices, coordinating releases with internal teams and external vendors, organizing the team’s artifacts, and improving the team’s quality control processes.


Fundamental Components
  • Hold sprint ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews and Sprint Retros.
  • Mature the team into a high performing Agile team
  • Work with Product Management to ensure sufficient level of Epic and Story details.
  • Coordinate and facilitate high quality releases with other Teams. Help release on a cadence.
  • Remove barriers and shields the team from outside influences that will impact sprint deliverables.
  • Admin communication tools (SharePoint, MS Teams), Agile Delivery (Jira)
  • Create incident reporting processes and manage problems to resolution including performing RCAs and working with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Create Working Agreements, Definitions of Done and other artifacts to ensure the team is working as efficiently as possible.
  • Identifies all dependencies, risks and blockers between Scrum Teams and manages them.
  • Train the team on Agile and enforce good agile practices (good estimating, lowering sprint velocity, etc.)
  • Liaison and align with other Agile groups in Aetna and CVS Health.
  • Develop Agile Metrics. Track against them.
  • Lead, Coach and Mentor Scrum Teams
  • Own communications on delivery to stakeholders via a multi-channel approach.
  • Develop Jira dashboards for Agile delivery and Bug reporting that can be used to make the team more transparent and efficient.
  • Ensure Scrum Teams are following best practice QA and Deployment processes.
  • Improve QA and production deployments including automating, standardizing, releasing more often, quick rollback, release notes, etc.
  • Help team with QA (automate when possible) and System Documentation.
  • History of managing millstone timelines across companies working on the same product.


Background Experience
  • 5+ years of Agile experience.
  • 3+ years of Agile experience with leading scrum teams and all ceremonies (daily standup meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective, creation of JIRA user stories, maintenance of dashboards, tracking and managing work in progress, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile framework including JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools.
  • 2+ years managing complex project timelines with multiple internal and external teams.
  • 2+ years with leading teams to improve quality of software development processes.
Education:
Master’s Degree is a plus
