Job Profile

Shift: Sat & Sun 7p-7a with 2 - 8 hour evening shifts during the week to include call/holidays

JOB SUMMARY: The computed tomography (CT) technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:

  • Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program;
  • Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required;
  • Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required;
  • Current CPR certification

Work Experience:

  • Two years experience preferred

Equipment Operated: CT Scanner, Injector, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment


Communication Skills:

Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Writing /Composing

Other Skills:

Analytical, Medical Terms, Typing, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel

Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, On Call
