Job Profile

The Financial Systems Administrator is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the technology solutions and data for the accounting and financial reporting at Community Health Choice. Responsibilities include implementing new processes and systems for financial forecasting, budgeting, and reconciling the general ledger. The Financial Systems Administrator will have a background in Information Technology with a finance emphasis and advanced ability to write and modify code, understand complex data files, have experience with Medicare reporting, and ensure the timely and efficient reconciliation of external data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Science
  • Three years managed care experience and three years data analysis and computer coding experience (SQL / SAS) required
  • Demonstrated ability to take manual processes and automate them
  • Two years' work experience in a programming role in a Finance or IT environment
  • Experience managing Medicare advantage financial and operational reports (MMR, P2P, LICS, etc)
  • One year management experience (3 years preferred)


OTHER SKILLS:

  • Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
  • Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports)
  • Advanced understanding of databases, medical expenses, trends, forecasting, ACA enrollment and healthcare finance.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Expertise with Excel (required), Access, SQL and SAS (required)
  • Visual studio (required) and Medicare files (MMS, P2P LICS etc- required)
