Job Profile

JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises and coordinates all Quality initiatives within the department including, but not limited to, medical chart and file audits, monitoring of Radiology information systems(PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition), monitoring status of staff licenses, radiation exposure logs and certifications of equipment.

Organizes and prepares data for accrediting organizations eg: DNV and ACR.

Educates staff regarding QA initiatives; prepares and monitors Root Cause Analyses and Outcomes.

Prepares and performs presentations and reports for monthly QA Committee and all Quality Improvement activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: H.S. Diploma or GED; ARRT Certification; Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or business related field

Work Experience (Years and Area): 5 years Radiologic Technologist

Management Experience (Years and Area): 1-3 years in management, supervisory or educational role

Equipment Operated: Radiology and Office equipment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports

Other Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, Research, Statistical, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel
