The SharePoint-Web Developer - Server Administrator is integrated into all development areas of Harris Health System's SharePoint and Web Server environment including designing, building, and configuring SharePoint and Web based solutions. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint and Web solutions involving enterprise content management, collaboration and business process management. Developer must be able to work with very little supervision in a highly charged and fast paced environment. This role supports all application development within the Harris Health System.
- Computer Science degree or related work experience.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions level certification
- 5 to 8 years I.T. developer experience on Microsoft SharePoint platform.
- Minimum 8 years as a web developer.
- MCSD SharePoint Applications or MCSD App Builder
- ITIL Foundations v3
- IT Service Management (ITSM) Systems Administrator experience
Responsible for planning, design, coding, testing, documentation and implementation of SEWS developed WEB solutions, Vendor supported applications, and other technology efforts within a multi-platform environment. This will include data analysis, integration, interaction with the user community to assess and respond to needs, and research of application issues. Ability to examine user requirements, develop implementation strategies, provide knowledge transfer to other team members. Strong communication skills with IT customers, vendors and other IT Service areas.
Scope of products supported by the SEWS Team in addition to software development: SharePoint 2013/2019, Amcom/Spok SmartSuite/CareConnect (Paging System), Send Word Now (Emergency Mass Communication System), IT Service Management System (preferably Cherwell Service Management System).
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- 5 to 8 years I.T. developer experience on Microsoft SharePoint platform. Minimum 8 years as a web developer
- 5 Years IT development/programming (preferably C#.net), SQL experience, XML experience, and System Administrator experience.
- IT Change Management Experience
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server Experience
