Reporting to the manager of Support & DevOps, the Sr. Salesforce Support Reliability Engineer is a highly technical Software Engineer that will build, implement, and drive innovation into the Salesforce Platform. Specifically, this individual contributor will be an expert in building and maintaining platform applications. This person(s) will identify, debug, and resolve incidents on the platform as well as build Sales Automation and Enablement initiatives for the Global Sales, Group Sales, and Business Development teams.
To be successful in this role the person(s) need to be able to work with production systems, be the technical lead on multiple projects at one time and provide Salesforce-based solutions which are highly scalable, usable, and secure. The need to translate complex technical solutions to critical business partners is also a requirement, as are strong project management skills.
-Ensure service level availability of the platform and integration applications and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues.
-Implement business and customer-based solutions and develop products on the platform leveraging Apex, Lightning, and Visual Force
-Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases.
-Integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications
-Lead business-driven solutions utilizing strong technical design skills and strong working relationships with internal groups
-Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
-Scope and estimate any new development requests
-Coach and develop more junior members of the team in Salesforce development best practices, deployment pipelines, and automation opportunities
-Serve as the technical expert of The Platform for Radisson Hotel Group
-Interface with, and participate in the relationship building, with key business stakeholders within RHG and key external vendors
-Build, Own, and Manage, the technical Salesforce roadmap to align with the Strategic Salesforce Roadmap owned by the Sr. Director, Service Operations.
-Salesforce Admin Certification
-Salesforce Developer Certification
-5+ years of Salesforce developer experience using Apex, VisualForce, and Salesforce Lightning
-Extensive experience with integrating 3rd party applications and systems to the Salesforce Platform
-Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality and the ability to clearly communicate its capabilities and limitations
