Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture Digital Development team. As the Akeneo PIM Developer, the primary function of this position is to build the front-end and back-end design of websites and software applications.  This position is also responsible for the design plans for the user-facing side of applications, which controls look and feel, and function. The Akenio PIM Developer will assist the team leader in creating a structure for the back part of an application, which manages program logic and server database interaction.

The Akeneo PIM Developer’s first 90 days will include a detailed new hire orientation, initial training plan, and a personalized development plan to help you reach your career goals.

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Work Experience - 6+ or more years as a Full-Stack Software Engineer 

Computer Knowledge and Skills - Below is the list of the computer programs and software applications that are required for this position:

  • TDD & BDD proficient with a drive to keep code tested and maintainable
  • Server-side and back-end coding (PHP, Magento, NodeJS, Express)
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL & MongoDB)
  • Microservices
  • Search Services and Third-Party integrations (ElasticSearch, Algolia)
  • Experience working with Payment Gateways (authorize.NET, Stripe, Braintree, etc.)
  • Experience with SOAP & REST API
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Environment deploy/orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes/Containers
  • Building scalable applications
  • AngularJS - ReactJS/Redux experience
