Job Description
Perform Systems Engineering functions in support of the U.S. Trident II (D5) Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. This position supports the FBM Test Missile Kit (TMK) production and the D5 flight test program by ensuring TMK flight hardware is available and meets requirements to support program needs. Responsibilities include witnessing testing, reviewing test data, and supporting the Product Certification for the associated Flight Readiness Reviews. Participates in Failure Review Boards and provides technical guidance on problem investigations concerning the Tracking, Telemetry, and Flight Termination Subsystem electronics. Provides technical oversight and support for package level CPEs within the Test Missile Kit system. Supports on-site as needed for FBM In-Tube Conversion at the Strategic Weapons Facilities and serves as the technical guidance on problem investigations concerning the Tracking, Telemetry, and Flight Termination Subsystem electronics. Provides technical oversight and support for package level CPEs within the Test Missile Kit system. Supports on-site as needed for FBM In-Tube Conversion at the Strategic Weapons Facilities and serves as the technical POC for TMK related issues during conversion. Generates technical reports and Range Safety Notifications on TMK anomalies when required. Interfaces with the Air Force's 45th Space Wing as necessary. Prepares presentations and technical briefings to support FBM Flight Readiness. Maintains a close relationship with the U.S. Navy to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled. Responsibilities include witnessing testing, reviewing test data, troubleshooting of test and flight anomalies, analysis and simulation as required to determine root cause, and supporting the Product Certification for the associated Flight Readiness Reviews.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree.

Experience with PCBs and basic electronics.
Experience with working with Navy customer.
Experience with Flight Termination Systems.
Experience with Failure Review Boards.
