Technical Service Advisor


Job Profile Summary
The HVAC Technical Service Advisor role will be responsible for communicating with our branches nationwide. You will be assisting them with technical expertise with trouble shooting and diagnosing commercial refrigeration and electrical issues and any other concerns in the field. This position will have in depth experience with a refrigeration and electrical background. You will also provide all product specifications and installation related information.

Job Expectations


  • Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, insuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times
  • Develop and maintain vendor relations
  • Monitor sales trends and product performance results
  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
  • Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond
  • Dispatch service to our warranty service providers
  • Work directly with technicians in the field and onsite
  • Assist Vendors with product specifications and drawings
  • Assist our Sales Representatives and Dealers with specifications and issues in the field
  • Documentation under case serial by incident
  • Process warranty parts orders


  • 3-5 years of experience in Commercial/Residential refrigeration and basic electrical and the ability to read wiring diagrams
  • Certification or Associate’s degree from an Refrigeration/HVAC program at a technical school preferred or equivalent experience in the field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex refrigeration issues with technicians
  • Critical-thinker, problem-solver
  • Must be punctual and adhere to set work schedule

  • Must be able to work positively within a team environment
  • Must be able to learn quickly and have a desire to succeed
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must take and pass pre-employment drug test and consent to a background check
