Electromagnetic Effects and Radiation Engineer 3

Essential Functions:

Successful candidate will be the technical liaison Interface with internal and external organizations. Responsibilities include: supporting EME team in decomposing electromagnetic environment (EME) and radiation system level requirements into box level requirements. Assisting EME team in specifying EME program design guidance and coordinating subcontract management test planning with supplier. Support / provide status at Program milestone meetings. Must have demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining IPT and supplier test specifications, procedures, and schedules. Support the development pre and posttest briefings demonstrating EME and radiation compliance.



Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field  and 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with a Master's degree.

- Experience with MIL-STD-464 and at least one other: MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-810, or MIL-STD-461. 

- Active Secret security clearance required and ability to acquire program access (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE and a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and RF modeling software tools such as FEKO is desired
