    • Prepare technical documentation to include technical white papers, instructional, engineering solutions, implementation guides, and whitepapers documenting infrastructure devices and standards.
    • Engineer highly available network infrastructure capable of meeting strict uptime requirements.

Design, test, install, integrate, and support migration. Migrate future customer processing requirements into the processing environment in a manner consistent with present practices. Migration support shall conform to the physical infrastructure, logical infrastructure, and security configurations such as access control lists and deny by default, and shall be integrated with the existing IA network. The current data replication solution meets requirements with multiple point-to-point circuits that are provisioned specifically for that requirement. When a new requirement is received for replication between two sites, provision a new point-to-point circuit. The number of devices replicating is being greatly increased, as well as, the amount of data being replicated and the number of sites replicating. Therefore, storage replication capacity in the number of connections, sites capable of replicating, and increased bandwidth requirements shall be expanded in order to meet existing and future customer has needs, as well as, supporting organizational goals. As replication is primarily to support disaster recovery, replication shall be reliable and flexible.

Provide engineering and communication support to establish a routed replication network using an MPLS layer3 VPN that can meet the requirements outlined above and can be provisioned to the 18 sites currently on the current Data Center replication network. Provide engineering and communication support to provision the replication network at the CONUS data centers and migrate from the point-to-point circuits between these data centers to the replication network. Provide engineering and communication support to investigate and migrate the data center communication and replication network to IPT-PE network. Migrate point-to-point circuits to a VPN service on IPT-PE and decommission all point-to-point physical circuits.
