Responsible for providing support to senior engineer/analyst for implementation, maintenance, analysis and research of Information Security design. Under general supervision provides a variety of basic technical tasks related to assigned area of responsibility. Work directly with business units and other stakeholders to support information security analysis. The desired candidate will have working knowledge of NIST and ISO along with any other relevant security engineering methodologies to successfully complete tasks
*Under direct supervision, responsible for providing analysis, review, documentation and information security technical support. Provides a variety of basic tasks related to assigned area of responsibility. Work directly with business units and other stakeholders to gather business requirements
*Uses analytical and problem solving skills as well as an understanding of the business and systems to resolve issues with applications. Participates with information security engineering and analysis efforts.
*Basic knowledge and understanding of the configuration relationships between the subsystems, applications, modules, and underlying security architecture.
*Work to identify needs and resolve problems pertaining to information security architecture.
*Participates in security review, impact assessment, testing and modifications for application updates, upgrades and installations.
SKILLS: Associate degree in related technical/business area plus 2 years of experience in IT. 3 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. 0-2 years of application specific experience
