Position Description
Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.

Major/Essential Functions
Distribute incoming mail, i.e. transcripts, letters of recommendation, evaluations, etc... for School of Medicine and the School of Nursing's graduate level programs.  Verify student records are accurate and compliant for state and internal auditing purposes.  Verify student records are accurate and ready for registration for the School of Nursing graduate programs and School of Medicine.  Evaluate residency status for applicants, answer departmental email and answer phone calls for the Registrar's Office.  Verify departmental scanning.  Responsible for processing and maintaining documents for the temporary file.  Update student information in Merlin to keep records in Banner current.  Maintain strict confidentiality for admitted students, current students, faculty and staff.  Provide excellent customer service and multitask with ease.  Cross train with other Analysts in the department so that their jobs are covered in their absence.

Preferred Qualifications
Banner knowledge preferred but not required.  Knowledge of the State of Texas Oath of Residency requirements is preferred.  Must be able to evaluate a transcript for drops, withdrawals, degree conferred and hours earned.
