|Working Title||Access Control Tech 2|
UNM’sFacilities Management (FM) isseeking a motivated, self-directed candidate with excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to join our FM-Lock Shop team as an Access Control Tech 2. The individual selected for this position will provide technicalcoordination and client liaison in the implementation of major and minor campusrekeying and access security upgrade projects. He/she will create customersecurity solutions in accordance with existing access control policies and keycoding protocols, ensuring the continued integrity of the University's masterkey program; provide technical guidance, oversight, and leadership to lowerlevel technical staff and contractors on a project basis.
FacilitiesManagement manages the operation and maintenance of UNM's facilities,including buildings, grounds, landscaping, vehicles, and utilities.

|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Certification/Licensure: Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) by Associated Locksmiths of America or completed Intermediate Technical Competence credential (DHT) by the Door and Hardware Institute.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
