|Working Title||Data Manager|
UNM’s Capital & Space Strategies (CSS) provides strategic coordination, guidance and planning resources for institutional space, facility physical assets and capital resources.
CSS seeks a flexible, driven, and results-oriented professional with demonstrated experience in space data management. This position is responsible for overseeing our FAMIS Space data system which includes developing specifications for data capture and input, while monitoring input to ensure consistency, quality and integrity of data, oversee the collection and reporting of complex space data, performing data analysis and interpretation including statistical values and provides advice and consultation regarding implications, and providing technical guidance in supporting users in the daily use of the FAMIS data system. This position will be critical in the development and implementation of improved data management strategies and systems for CSS. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate space and facility data analysis, creative problem solving skills, will take initiative to improve data collection processes, and have the ability to troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
