Position SummaryUnder indirect supervision, installs, maintains, tests, and repairs systems and networks. Utilizes intermediate technical knowledge to implement and support IT initiatives. Provides technical support and resolves problems of a moderately complex nature. May assists users/departments in implementing requests or proposals and in determining information systems needs assessments. May supervise or provide functional direction to staff or student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of wireless networking protocols.
