|Working Title||Postal Tech|
UNM Mailing Systems is the mail and package processing facility for the University of New Mexico. The department is seeking a hardworking, dependable individual to join the team, which receives, sorts, and delivers USPS, UPS, FedEx and campus mail on a daily basis.
The position requires extensive physical activity. While on a route, this position will require strenuous physical work; stair climbing, heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
The position also prepares and processes outgoing mail and parcels. May operate computerized postage metering and weighing equipment, and may work some evenings and/or weekends as required.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
