Systems Analyst - IT Apps & Programming

SUMMARY: Systems Analyst primary responsibilities willinclude the direct system support of assigned computer applications andprojects. This support will require knowledge of application\system functionality,configuration parameters, web-based technologies, database management, datareporting, systems connectivity and integration of applications with othersystems. This position will work collaboratively with ITS professionals toprovide support for system support, monitoring, operations, internet/intranetsupport, database support, business analytics and design, programming,interoperability and project implementation. This position will be dedicated toongoing support of Epic environments, and third party systems.

Undergeneral supervision, modifies moderate to complex applications programs fromdetailed specifications. Codes, tests,debugs, documents, and maintains those programs. Assigned tasks and/or projects may involve,Systems Connectivity, System front-end user interface to new or existingdatabase using a combination of below or other languages to makebusiness/clinical applications accessible. Competent to work on most phases of applications/systems programmingactivities, but may require instruction and guidance in phases. Supports IT Professionals with the day to dayoperations of monitoring, managing/resolving priority requests, scheduledsystem/application patches and system maintenance. Responsible for reports anddashboards development. Supports on-callrequirements, process and responsibilities.

Systems Analyst will participate in crossfunctional communications, meetings, and projects to promote hospitalobjectives for the purpose of providing patient care. Provides support and/ortechnical coordination of project processes and documentation. Participates in all phases of majorprojects; planning, preparing, maintaining and tracking project plans. Provides regular and accurate progressupdates and status reports. Responsiblefor completion of a phase of a project. REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor of Science Degree or four years I.T. related experience required.
EPIC Certificationwithin six (6) months of hire or transfer into position required.
Current open positions required certification:
Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) or,
Additional EpicCertifications a plus:
Bridges Interface
Cogito: Clarity\Caboodle ETLAdministrator; Caboodle Developer and Data Model
Data Courier Administrator andChronicles Install Utilities
Operational Database Administrator(ODBA Cache)
Preferredcertificates or experience related in the following: UNIX, RDBMS, BOE,Cloverleaf,, Graphic Design, Visual Basic, .Net, C#, MS SQL, Oracle,IIS, HTML, Active X,CSS, SSRS, SSAS, or SharePoint

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period, day shift.
