Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.
This senior analyst position will provide technical solutions for the Consumer Lending Business Technology platform and help innovate processes and capabilities that will make the platform more resilient and efficient. Successful team member will analyze and resolve complex issues in a high visibility distributed JAVA/J2EE and .NET based middleware platform. The resource will actively interact with development and various technical partner teams, vendors, as well as internal and external business partners. As a Senior resource on the Platform Management team, he/she will evaluate and recommend enhancements/changes to existing processes.
Candidate must have strong application support experience and have an understanding of various middleware technologies. Familiarity with various database, NAS, and network systems is also highly desired. The ability to take initiative, problem solve, and lead high visibility fast-paced efforts (while effectively communicating to technical and senior leaders) is a must. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and analyze complex issues in critical situations. As a senior resource within the team, this individual will mentor junior team members. The ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner, within a large virtual team setting, is crucial. A proactive mindset (combined with a willingness to learn new processes and tools) is vital to this role.
Other Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years experience supporting Java application platforms (including Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP, IBM Liberty/WAS, and other similar products)
- Experience with monitoring tools to solve and prevent application issues
- Prior experience in Wells Fargo Consumer Lending Baning Technology organization (preferably WFEF and/or Channel Technologies)
- Prior experience leading and managing Wells Fargo EACO calls/issues
