Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

The Wholesale International Technology team is part of a multi-year, multi-line of business effort aimed at establishing a strong foundation of products, services and systems to enable a consistent customer experience for Wells Fargo customers doing business internationally and facilitates in-country, in-currency transactions for Wholesale Lending, Payments and Account Services products.  The team’s mission is to ensure IT operations effectiveness, IT availability/continuity, and minimizing service interruptions by leveraging consistent governance, practices, tools, methodologies, metrics, and measurements.
The Wholesale International Technology Analysis and Design team implements a high-volume of simultaneous changes to a commercialized account services and payments platform, implementing enhancements and moving quickly to a new set of requirements, while supporting the application in production.  The ability to embrace change during the development as part of an evolving system, evaluate the impact to multiple parties, and suggest solutions is imperative.  The team member will fill a critical role in defining, testing, and implementing the parameters and configuration compenents of Oracle’s Flexcube banking application.  Additionally, they may also create functional system design documentation, participating in all phases of the development life cycle for assigned projects and coordinate business issue resolution throughout each project.   
This role will range from the highly strategic (collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage and influence the roadmap) to the highly tactical (working with multiple technology & testing teams to deliver on program & release objectives).  To be successful, he or she must be an analytical problem solver, an excellent communicator, organized, and able to oversee several complex efforts at once in a continually evolving, fast-paced environment.



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 5 + years of experience writing Functional Specifications Documents (FSD's)
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  • 3+ years of payment processing industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners
  • 2+ years of international treasury management experience, international banking services experience, or a combination of both
  • 2 + years of Microsoft Visio experience
  • 1+ year of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: use case development
  • Experience with business operations and credit, deposit and FX systems such as LoanIQ, Flexcube, FX Calypso, MidasPlus, OpicsPlus, Lucas, RealmMML, or Wallstreet
  • Global payments services and bank operations exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo
  • 2 + years of Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments processing experience
  • Regulatory or compliance experience in the electronic payments industry
  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build business cases
  • Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
  • Experience researching technical problems, analyzing data, and recommending potential solutions
  • Experience facilitating meetings with team members in various remote locations
  • Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements analysis and writing of technical specifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications


Experience designing, customizing, implementing, and integrating compliance and AML applications to Flexcube Universal Banking system and Oracle Banking Payments.
