As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be required to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Work closely with multiple development teams across Digital to understand existing skill set and practices.
  • Develop and deliver solutions to problems with the best technology available within the Wells Fargo framework, while maintaining on-time delivery and appropriate follow up.
  • Lead complex development efforts with a strong track record of following Agile processes.
  • Provide SME guidance for other teams as needed.
  • Educate developer community on development best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluate and recommend go forward approaches, and research issues/concerns to identify root causes
  • Document software changes, technical processes and procedures and develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and improve the technical processes.
  • Handle support escalations. Troubleshoot developer issues in large range of technologies.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 7 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
  • 5+ years of ANT or Maven experience
  • 3+ years of Java experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Java experience
  • Experience with .net
  • Python experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Node.js
  • 3+ years of experience supporting technology in a regulated environment



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5 years of Gradle
  • Experience running and maintaining a server farm


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
