|The Systems Engineer is expected to have exceptional technical expertise and customer service skills, able to initiate and lead new technology projects, continually validate and revise process, and capable of working in a demanding fast-paced healthcare environment. Under general supervision on the Infrastructure team, they will be expected to work independently and perform complex work to install, deploy, modify, test, document and upgrade storage, server and other enterprise systems consistent with the system standards and guidelines of Yuma Regional Medical Center. The incumbent must have a sense of urgency in dealing with critical issues, be able to follow up, escalate and have the capability to gather the right people around him/her to resolve and deliver solutions.|
|Information Technology Management|
|The Information Technology Division at Yuma Regional Medical Center provides vision, planning and guidance for implementing and maintaining technology. The technologies include large integrated systems like the Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Business Systems. Other technologies include Biomedical systems, Communication and Infrastructure systems, Telemedicine systems along with Desktop and Help Desk systems to name a few. The Information Technology Divisions focus is patient-centric; by providing a stable electronic environment for our patients and staff we deliver the tools necessary to care for patients in the 21st Century.|
| Education Required: Associates Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related degree OR progressing towards and completing Associate’s Degree in related field within 18 months OR 8 years related experience as a Systems Technician or similar information technology role in lieu of degree requirement.|
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related degree with additional MCSE or related professional certification
| Experience Required: 3 years progressive level experience in: Day-to-day Windows and systems administration, troubleshooting, maintenance-related programming, and production support. Designing, implementing and supporting high-availability, Enterprise-wide Microsoft Windows systems such as Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, Virtualization, SCCM and Citrix implementations.|
Experience Preferred: Experience with 99.99% uptime Data Center operation. Experience with Enterprise Storage operation and support. Experience with Enterprise backup solutions. Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. Experience in UNIX\Linux systems administration, troubleshooting, maintenance-related programming, and production support. Experience with healthcare related IT security compliance and regulations.
